Sunday, February 5th • Noon–3pm

Calling all Ladies Of The Vine Members (LOTV) and all of you out there who want to be LOTV! Looking for something to do with girls when the guys are sleeping in or getting ready for the big game?  Well, head out to Algoma and still have time to get back and catch all the “Super” action after enjoying von Stiehl’s  “Super” Tasting Event!  We’re setting up a tasting with everyday foods and some great gourmet cheeses so you’ll be a Tasting Aficionado the next time you host a party or are just enjoying a fresh slice of pizza at home.  We’ll help share the Do’s and Don’ts of wine tasting and as always we’ll have a few surprises up our sleeves for you!  The cost is only $20 per person to enjoy good company, great wine, food and a lot of fun!  Call 1-800-955-5208 to reserve your spot.  Space is limited.

New Accolades!

Door Peninsula Winery was included in an extensive list of over 800 wines submitted from the U.S. and Canada to the International Eastern Wine Competition where their Panacea Peach took BEST OF CLASS for a white fruit wine, followed by both Blackberry Merlot and Sweet Cherry earning a BRONZE. Another set of refined palates explored the tastes from Door County in the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Over 70 judges from around the
world examined over 2,600 wines. Door Peninsula Winery again showed strongly earning GOLD for Blackberry wine and BRONZE for Sweet Cherry. Vineyard & Winery Management presents the U.S. National Wine Competition, a comprehensive examination of wines from across the United States. Door Peninsula Winery’s Mango earned GOLD and Peninsula Red, a blend of Door County Cherry, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, earned SILVER.

Fall Harvest Festival
